On behalf of TradeWinds Services, I want to thank you for your donation of $100.00 towards our 2011 Gala Ad Book. TradeWinds Services continue to advance its mission to promote individual choice, growth, and self-sufficiency for people of all ages and abilities.
TradeWinds helps hundreds of children a year in and around Lake and Porter County, Indiana, many living in economic hardships. Tristen Cook is a three year old in our childcare program who was born with down syndrome. He is also diagnosed with renal disease, which is a condition in which the kidneys fail to completely filter toxins and waste products from the blood. He is currently going through dialysis and is on a waiting list to receive a new kidney. Tristen has made huge strides while in our childcare department through therapy. Physical therapy has helped him learn how to sit up properly, interact with other children, and be a productive and playful toddler within his environment. His parents have had an enormous amount of of medical bills to pay, and Tristen is still in need of therapy service provided by TradeWinds staff. Through efforts of volunteers and donors, Tristen and others like him here at TradeWinds will get the support they need.

I wanted to take a minute to properly thank you and Joe Strickland for all your hard work, professionalism, and effort on the referenced Project. Without both of you, the Project would not have been a success. The efforts of Joe being onsite daily, with all of the challenges and demanding schedule, were recognized by many, espically me working closely with him during the very crushing and demanding end of schedule.
